This is my most used attachment for my kitchenAid. I use this make my meatloaf, but mostly to shred my chicken. I stick in boneless breast or thighs straight from the pressure cooker or pot, run for about 2 minutes, viola! Shredded chicken, with no burnt fingers, in under 2 minutes.

KitchenAid mixers are wonderful products. I purchased this beater as a replacement for my original mixer beater. The original mixer beater's enamel had started to wear off and the bare metal was starting to rust. Before anyone thinks that you have to replace beaters every few years let me explain: the original beater that finally wore out was over 30 years old! KitchenAid mixers are wonderful products that are built to last. This beater will probably outlast me.
