I bought it expecting to use it with an additional attachment to make "Kibbeh" (Kubba).
I have not found any accessory that fits. It should be something similar to a sausage maker accessory. Something that would form elongated cylinders which are then stuffed with ground meat or other fillings.
It is basically a useful attachment. Kitchenaid should have made it more useful by exploring the possibilities.
It works fine, but I find it a bit overpriced.

I purchased this specifically to grind pork and although the first time I used it, I had a bit of trouble. When I realized that increased speed would allow for a better and more consistent grind, the unit worked nicely. I had heard mixed reviews, along with some non-sensical ones (difficult to clean? What???), I would rate the unit as easy to set up - 5 stars, quality of grind - 5 stars, feeder - 4 stars, clean up - 5 stars. Overall, I would rate the unit 5 stars. Cleaning is a snap, simply take it apart and run under warm water. What could be easier. The price is excellent and the plastic feeding worm is heavier than I imagined. I think it would be difficult to break this under normal use. I highly recommend this product.

I LOVE my Kitchenaid mixer and the grinder attachment to it.
Grinds everything perfectly fine!
To anyone saying that meat or fat gets wound around the blade and clogs the holes, there's an easy solution.
Cut your meat into pieces and freeze in a single or 2 layers for 30-40 minutes. Meat frozen to medium hardness gets through this grinder in no time.
